Setting up an online shop
Online stores must describe products for sale with text, photos, and multimedia files, whereas in a physical retail store, the actual product and the manufacturer’s packaging will be available for direct inspection (which might involve a test drive, fitting, or other experimentation). Imagine describing an item to a vision impaired person.
Online stores should have real-time chat features or have a staff member dedicated to handle customer questions by phone or email.
The key to any business is service. Don’t let enquiries go unanswered even if you don’t make a sale (this time). Your online shop needs to evolve to cater to your customers needs.
Listen and learn!
